Do I need a smart scale?
Choose a compatible smart scale to see readings and trends in the iHome app. For a simple weight check on the display, choose the Digital Scale.
What does body composition mean?
Body composition describes what makes up your body, including fat, muscle, and water. Smart scales provide estimates that can help you follow changes over time.
How are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi different?
Bluetooth connects your scale with a nearby phone. A configured Wi-Fi scale can send readings through your home network. Setup and supported workflows depend on your model.
Do I need Fit+?
No. Fit+ is an optional paid plan for additional features, including nutrition tools, AI coaching, and workouts. Your compatible scale’s readings and history are available in the iHome app without Fit+.
Are body-composition readings medical measurements?
Body-composition readings are estimates for general wellness. They are not a diagnosis. Follow your product’s safety instructions and ask a qualified healthcare professional about medical concerns.
